Our Derwent range cabinets are made from high quality birch plywood. A fantastically strong material, birch plywood is not only durable but can be beautifully finished in a verity of ways. Birch has a subtle flowing grain, is naturally light in colour and takes oils, dyes, and wood stains extremely well. With a painted finish, different levels of opacity are easily achieved, from a subtle tinted colour to merely highlight the grain, to a completely solid smooth colour
